Our recently renovated Hebridean crofthouse has superb self-catering facilities, including two comfortable bedrooms and spacious public rooms with a sitting room and separate dining room that adjoins a well equipped modern kitchen.

Set in a coastal Gaelic speaking community in the Western Isles of Scotland, this family run Scottish Tourist Board 4 star rated property is superbly placed within 200 yards of the picturesque Port of Ness beach and its adjacent 19th century fishing harbour.   Situated about 45 minutes drive from the island's airport and ferry terminals in the town of Stornoway, guests can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation, but with easy access to public services and amenities.

A regular bus service passes by the property approximately every 1-2 hours, Monday to Saturday.   There is also a local taxi service - ideal for drivers who wish to leave their vehicles 'at home'
But then again, there are all those wonderful walks on any one of several beautiful sandy beaches; along the stunning coastline, rolling machair (coastal grassland) and the expansive moor that dominates the east coast.

The crofting community of Ness in the north of the Isle of Lewis boasts several outstanding sandy beaches, stunning seascapes, great walking spaces and well known landmarks like the Butt of Lewis lighthouse and Dun Eistean - the ancestral home of the Clan Morrison, which is now undergoing a major archaeological survey.
